March 4, 2009 - Newton is one of 4 SETX boys teams left in the playoffs. Good luck winning two more and making it to Austin!
- February 27, 2009 - Newton defeats Anahuac to advance to the regional semifinals! You can watch the highlights in the right column now! The Eagles will face familiar foe Shelbyville on Wednesday night.
- November 29, 2008: Newton WINS A THRILLER against Franklin 29-21 in three overtimes! Congratulations to the players and coaches!
- November 22, 2008 - Newton easily handles East Chambers at LCM.Next up for the purple and white is Franklin.

- Lance Edwards visited Newton in Week 0 and enjoyed the atmosphere. People were at the stadium an hour before the game, the smoker was cooking up some excelent food that you could smell from a mile away. Good luck to you this season.
- Newton has lots of speed from what we saw at practice this week. The Eagles are more than confident that they'll be reaching state in '08. You can watch their video in the right column.
