August 29-Leger's Restaurant Report Card

This week's restaurant inspection scores comes to us from the Beaumont Health Department.

#1. MERCADO DE FAMILIA 1650 COLLEGE/GRADE=77

We begin with Mercado de Familia on College.

Inspector Scott found flies and gnats in the back, no sanitizer towels in the meat department to kill germs,

and the back storage room was dirty.

Mercado de Familia on College gets a 77.

#2. SONIC DRIVE IN 8320 COLLEGE/GRADE=81

Now to Sonic Drive in on College.

Inspector Scott found mold in the ice machine, at least a dozen flies and gnats in the kitchen,

and there was a fly stuck to the hot dog roller.

Sonic Drive In on College gets an 81.

#3. DOMINOS PIZZA 3970 E. LUCAS/GRADE=83

and finally Inspector Duriso stopped by Dominos Pizza on East Lucas where she found workers with no hair restraints,

they had personal food and drinks on the table where pizza was being prepared, there was no sanitizer solution to kill germs,

and no thermometer to make sure food was at a safe temperature.

Dominos on East Lucas gets an 83.
