Fire crews fight trailer blaze in Vidor

And fire crews in Orange County spent a few hours fighting a trailer fire this evening.

The call came in around 6:30 p.m. from a trailer park off of West Park and Tannahill streets.

The Bridge City Volunteer Fire Department was called to the scene to assist.

Fire Chief Jerry Aldridge tells KFDM no one was home when the blaze started.

No word yet on what caused the fire.

Red Cross is assisting the family with housing and other needs tonight.
