November 3rd-Leger's Restaurant Report Card

This week the restaurant report card is on the road to Hardin County.

Marian Kellum is the restaurant inspector and this week, most of the restaurants in Hardin County did well.. although there were a few concerns at a convenience store and a fast food restaurant.

#1. TIGERLAND QUICK STOP 1175 HWY 418 SILSBEE GRADE=73

We begin with the low score of the week from Hardin County.. The Tigerland Quick Stop in Silsbee. Inspector Kellum found no dates on cooked food to indicate they were safe to eat, she also found thermometers used to maintain safe temperatures needed to be calibrated... and the mop sink was not useable. Tigerland in Silsbee gets a 73.

#2.DAIRY QUEEN

1290 SOUTH PINE KOUNTZE GRADE=85

Next is Diary Queen on South Pine in Kountze. the Queen needed repairs involving a floor drain and had to be shut down until the repairs were made..she was back open by noon.. the inspector notes that the place was improved and that employees were working hard to keep it looking nice. Dairy Queen in Kountze gets an 85.

#3.WHATABURGER

Inspector Kellum checked out Whataburger in Lumberton ... where the only concern was bins that needed to be cleaned.. Whataburger in Lumberton gets a 96.
