October 16-Leger's Restaurant Report

This week's Restaurant Report Card comes to us from the Beaumont Health Department.

 

SHIPLEY DONUTS 550 S 11TH ST/GRADE=81

We begin with Shipley Donuts on South 11th. Inspector Wilhelm found sausage at an unsafe temperature, there were poor hygienic

practices including no hair nets, the kolache oven, kitchen table and refrigerator needed to be cleaned. Shipley Donuts gets an 81.

 

CHABA THAI CUISINE 4340 EAST LUCAS/GRADE=84

Now to Chaba Thai Cuisine on East Lucas. Inspector Scott found gnats in the restaurant, the dishwasher was not sanitizing and the floors were dirty under kitchen equipment. Chaba Thai Cuisine on East Lucas gets an 84.

 

EL POTRILLO MEXICAN RESTAURANT 5920 Eastex Freeway

One steamer used to keep food hot was not working and the food had to be thrown away, there was no chlorine for the towels used to wipe down areas and kill germs, and the cooks were eating and drinking in the kitchen which falls under poor hygienic practices.
