High Island's Scholar Athletes

KFDM would like to congratulate TJ Kahla and Alina McCarley on winning the Scholar-Athlete of the week award.
TJ plans on playing college baseball at a small college next fall. He's going to try out as soon as High Islands playoff run is finished.
Alina is going to the University of Texas at Tyler in the fall. She plans to major in english and return to High Island to give back what the community gave her, a proper high school education.
