Airports across the nation as well as in Jefferson County have beefed up security due to Friday's airline attack in Detroit.
Travelers flying in and out of the Southeast Texas Regional Airiport say they felt safer today. One man flew from Ft. Lauderdale to Beaumont.
He says he noticed the Transportation Security Administration, also known as TSA, demonstrating more awareness of the travelers and the luggage brought into the airport.
