PAPD arrests shooting suspect

The Port Arthur Police Department has arrested a suspect in a shooting at Carver Terrace Apartments.
Police responding to a shooting call shortly after 6 p.m. Sunday in the 12 hundred block of Carver Terrace. Several witnesses told police the suspect's name and described his car. Officers quickly found the vehicle and arrested the man.
The victim's injuries aren't life threatening, according to police. He was taken by ambulance to Christus Hospital St. Mary.
