Accident injures baby, several others

The Department of Public safety is investigating an accident involving four vehicles that sent a baby and three other people to the hospital.

The accident was reported at about 7:30 a.m. Friday.

DPS troopers say a driver traveling west on Old Sour Lake Road, about one mile west of Keith Road, crossed over to the eastbound side and hit a car. A second vehicle was also struck and another driver tried to avoid the accident and ended up in a culvert.

A one year old boy was in a safety seat in one of the vehicles. He was taken to a hospital as a precaution as were his mother and two other people.

The trooper says no one received any serious injuries.
