Fatal accident in Hardin County

Law enforcement officers told KFDM News a woman was killed in a collision Wednesday afternoon in Hardin County, north of Silsbee.

The accident happened at about 1 p.m. on Highway 92 near Gore Store Road.

Investigators say a woman was turning onto Gore Store Road when a driver struck her from behind.  Her SUV overturned and the woman was killed.  The driver of the car wasn't seriously hurt. 

The woman has been identified as Vanessa Strawther, 30, of Silsbee.
