Update: I-10 reopens after vehicles overturn
Two westbound lanes of I-10 in Rose City have reopened following an accident in which two vehicles overturned, according to the Texas Department of Public Safety.
Two people were taken to a hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The accident was reported at about 8:30 a.m. Wednesday in the westbound lanes of I-10 at the 859 mile marker in Rose City, near the Asher Turnaround.
According to the DPS, the driver of a Jeep was changing lanes and a Honda CRV was in the driver's blind spot. When the driver of the Jeep saw the CRV she swerved to avoid the vehicle. Both vehicles overturned. The driver and a passenger in the Jeep were taken to a hospital with non-life threatening injuries. The driver of the Honda wasn't injured.
