Man stabbed while putting air in tire

PORT ARTHUR -- Two men stabbed and robbed another man Wednesday night as he put air in his tire at a convenience store, police say.

The men, who took the victim's wallet, stabbed him several times in the stomach and arm at the RaceWay, 3939 Twin City Highway, according to the Port Arthur Police Department.

The victim was transported at about 11:30 p.m. to the Medical Center of Southeast Texas. Authorities said his injuries aren't life threatening.
