December 4, 2008 - 12:37 AM

Law enforcement officers armed with a search warrant raided a Port Arthur night club, seizing all of the alcoholic beverages while citing ten people for operating a sexually oriented business without a permit.

A one month undercover investigation ended when officers with the Port Arthur Police Department, Groves Police, Port Neches Police and the Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission surprised employees and customers at the Club Jaguar Bikini Bar in the 65 hundred block of Gulfway Drive in Port Arthur.

They entered the club at about 9:30 p.m. Wednesday with a search warrant indicating they had reason to believe employees were serving alcoholic beverages without a permit, and employees were operating a sexually oriented business without a permit.

Agents with the Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission seized all of the liquor, including 383 bottles of beer and 10 bottles of distilled spirits.

The TABC said it will file cases against three employees for either selling or possessing alcoholic beverages without a permit.

Port Arthur Police Chief Mark Blanton says investigators cited the owner and nine employees for operating a sexually oriented business without a permit.  He says the investigation will continue to determine if additional charges should be filed.

One person was arrested for outstanding warrants.
