PORT ARTHUR -- Police are investigating a shooting following a bingo game at Port Arthur's Knights of Columbus Hall that left one employee with a gun wound in the arm.
As workers cleaned up the center at 4863 60th St., two men armed with guns came in through an unlocked door, demanded money and fired a shot, striking one staff member in the right arm, witnesses say.
Police arrived at the scene at 9:06 p.m. Friday when employees told them the men had demanded money. The robbers left with an undisclosed amount of cash, employees told officers.
The man's injury is not life threatening. Paramedics took him to Christus Hospital St. Elizabeth.
