Authorities bust pill trafficking operation

JEFFERSON COUNTY -- A Port Acres man has been arrested after authorities say he was the ring leader of a pill trafficking operation.
Investigators say the man sent a crew of 10 people to Houston to visit doctors, get prescriptions, have them filled at a Houston pharmacy, and return to Jefferson County to sell the narcotics.
