BEAUMONT -- The main library in downtown Beaumont will be termporarily closed Friday and Saturday due to a major renovation of the air conditioning system.

There will be an interruption of the air conditioning system in the main library building starting at 5:00 p.m.

  The library will reopen Monday, July 13.

  The other branches won't be affected.
