Thousands come out for the Beaumont Boys Bash

How often do you see professional baseball players and country music stars in the same place.

This weekend six stars are in your backyard trying to raise money for several non profit organizations throughout the area.

Saturday evening thousands gathered on Crockett Street to hear the sounds of hometown boys Tracy Byrd, Kevin Millar, and Zona Jones during the annual Beaumont Boys Bash.

The group says this is their way of "making a difference at home" by raising money for local charities. Earlier in the day the guys signed autographs for fans.

The Beaumont Boys Bash wraps up tomorrow with a golf tournament at the Bayou Din Golf Club.

Proceeds from the weekend will benefit Children's Miracle Network, the Boy Scouts, the Garth House, Girls' Haven, the Hughen Center, and the Humane Society.
