Video shows bull getting loose at Houston rodeo

Authorities are explaining how a bull managed to get loose during a rodeo in Houston.

The bull got free from a holding pen at Reliant Stadium Sunday and made its way through a crowd before finally being corralled.

Rodeo officials say exiting wagons spooked the bull just before he broke free. The bull was angered even further when security shot it with a Taser.

Attendees who were with children said it was a frightening experience.

Although no one was seriously injured, a female wrangler suffered a bruised foot and a security officer has cuts and scratches on his back.

Organizers have vowed it will never happen again.

the officer was tazing the bull... used the halt hand signal too...
so very politically correct... that hand signal didnt work out to well though..
guess they've never really had a discussion on how the officer is to handle a loose animal,,, or he would have known the tazer wouldnt wotk,,,
one of the largest police forces in the world.. in texas too,, cowboy land..
and he uses the halt signal ,as if the bull understands this...
whoami could answer this probably,,if i have a carry permit, im standing there and see this,, lady standing there with baby or old person or wheelchair bound person,,,,
can i shoot that bull.......................
and do i get to keep the meat if i do....
or do i go directly to jail and dont collect 200 dollars worth of meat..

Yeah, and if he'd shot the bull, then a thousand more people would be screaming what a killer he was, and he'd be out of work (with pay of course) lol ... just can't please everybody, you know?
