This week's Restaurant Report Card Comes to us from the Beaumont Health Department.

SAIGON MARKET 933 GRANT/GRADE=70

We begin with Saigon Market on Grant Street. Inspector Scott found cut cabbage and gumbo out at room temperature. She ordered that food and egg rolls and fried chicken destroyed because it may have spoiled. The inspector also found spoiled cabbage in the refrigerator. There were also many flies in the restaurant. Saigon Market barely passed its inspection with a score of 70.

MARBLE SLAB CREAMERY 6155 EASTEX FRWY/GRADE=82

Next is Marble Slab Creamery. Inspector Wilhelm found a cooler wasn't cold enough, there was a garbage can too close to the hand wash sink, and a freezer bottom needed to be cleaned. Marble Slab Creamery at Parkdale Mall gets an 82.

ISAAC LEE'S BBQ CRABS AND MORE 3620 COLLEGE/GRADE=82

Now to Isaac Lee's BBQ Crabs and More on College. Inspector Scott found raw crabs, fish batter and cole slaw at unsafe temperatures, and employees were not properly sanitizing items properly. Isaac Lee's BBQ Crabs and More on College gets an 82.

SONIC DRIVE IN 1040 SOUTH 11TH ST./GRADE=85

Next on the list is Sonic Drive In on South 11th. Inspector Scott found hot dogs at an improper temperature, there were several gnats, and mold on soda nozzles and in the ice machine. Sonic on South 11th gets an 85.

POPEYES FAMOUS FRIED CHICKEN 1430 WASHINGTON/GRADE=85

Finally we check out Popeyes on Washington. Inspector Wilhelm found chicken at an unsafe temperature, and there were flies in the restaurant. Popeyes on Washington gets an 85.
