A head-on collision in Hardin County has killed a man and injured a mother and her baby.

   It happened near Saratoga at about noon Wednesday on FM 770 close to Brown Road.  Officers say the 19 year old man who died was from Silsbee.  They believe he may have fallen asleep at the wheel before crossing the center line into oncoming traffic.  The man's truck collided with another truck driven by a woman from Saratoga. 

   The woman suffered non-life threatening injuries and was flown by helicopter to a Beaumont hospital. Her baby was taken to the same hospital by ambulance. Officers say the baby was in the backseat and not injured.
