Computer Seized in Connection with Kountze Church Fire
Investigators say the First Baptist Church in Kountze was deliberately set on fire last month. KFDM News obtained a copy of a search warrant which authorities used to search and seize a laptop computer. According to the Hardin County Appraisal District, Michael and Kristy Wade own the home from where the computer was seized. Kristy Wade is the church secretary.
At this point, it's not clear why the ATF is looking at that computer. The agency has sealed the reason for the search.
KFDM would like to stress that a search warrant is not an accusation of guilt.
