Orange County Investigators Searching for Missing Girl

The Orange County Sheriff's Office is looking for Joana Sanchez who was reported missing by her parents Monday night. Joana boarded a school bus in the western area of Orange County on the morning of January 18, 2007, but did not return home after school that day. She has contacted her family on two occasions since then but has not returned home. It is unknown who she may be with. She was in the Beaumont area Monday night. She is described as being 14 years of age, light complexion, long curly brown hair, brown eyes, 5' tall, 103 pounds. She was last seen wearing a red shirt, blue jean skirt, and black leather shoes. She may have been wearing a black jacket or sweater with MEXICO inscribed on the back. Anyone with knowledge of her whereabouts is asked to contact the Orange County Sheriff's Office or their local law enforcement agency.
