Truck fire shuts down part of I-10

Part of I-10 West in Orange County remains closed Monday morning following an 18 wheeler accident.
It happened at about 2:30 a.m. on I-10 West near the rest area in Orange County.
The 18 wheeler hit the barrier on I-10 and the truck caught on fire.
Diesel fuel spilled onto the highway forcing the DPS to shut down the westbound lanes.
A DPS dispatcher tells KFDM News workers hope to reopen one of the two westbound lanes by 9 a.m.
The Vidor and McLewis Fire Departments put out the flames.
The driver wasn't seriously hurt.
