Search for missing Orange County teen

ORANGE COUNTY - From Orange County Sheriff's Office -

On Sunday, December 6, 2009, at approximately 4:30 PM, the Orange County Sheriff’s Office received information regarding a missing juvenile that was last seen at 5772 Woodland Drive in Orange.

Deputies met with Patricia O’Dell who wanted to report her son as missing. The missing juvenile has been identified as Cody Wain O’Dell, W/M, a 16 year old West Orange High School student.

According to Ms. O’Dell, the last time she observed her son was on Friday, December 4th when he left their house to go to Indian Lake in Deweyville. Cody was supposed to return home on December 5th but did not.

Cody is described as being 5’11”, 180 lbs, with brown hair and brown eyes. Cody is also described as having a scar on his chin.

my son knows this boy just through school. I asked him last night when was the last time he saw him and he said it was in class last week. I asked that he keep his eyes and ears open for anything he sees or hears. I can't imagine the fear his family is feeling right now. I pray he is safe, wherever he is, and is brought home safely.
