Texan Arrested 4 Times in Less Than 2 Weeks for DWI
Comments 0 | Recommend 0OMAHA, Neb. (AP) - A man arrested four times in less than two weeks on suspicion of drunken driving bonded out of a Nebraska jail Tuesday.
Robert Hood of Caldwell, Texas, was released after posting $200, or 10 percent of the $2,000 bail, Otoe County Jail officials said.
The 44-year-old was pulled over shortly before 8:30 a.m. July 13 in Otoe County for speeding, Deb Collins of the Nebraska State
Patrol said. The state trooper said Hood was drunk.
Otoe County sits on the Missouri River in southeast Nebraska, south of Omaha.
Records show this was Hood's fourth charge since the beginning of July, Collins said. He was arrested on July 4 in Mitchell, S.D., July 7 in Deadwood, S.D., and again on July 8 in Platte County, Wyo.
"This was a very unusual occurrence," Collins said, but the arrests didn't break any record that she knew of.
