All suspects now caught in case of dead man's credit card

All three suspects have now been caught in the case of a motorcycle fatality victim's credit card taken from the scene of the accident and used just hours after his death.

Jacob Holmes, 21, and a friend, Crue Marlowe, 19, both of Lumberton, were killed August 27 while riding motorcycles on the Eastex Freeway in Beaumont.

Holmes' wallet wasn't found at the scene, and hours later, a credit card of his was used at a convenience store.

Police arrested Gerald Hunter, 49, on October 30. Thursday, George West, 47, and Michelle Dalco, 36, were arrested at a home on Canal Street in Port Neches. They were booked into the Jefferson County Jail on a warrant for Engaging in Organized Crime with Intent to Commit Credit Card Abuse.

A fundraiser to help Jacob Holmes' family pay his funeral expenses is scheduled Saturday from 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. at W.O.'s Friendly Tavern, 13986 Highway 69 North, Village Mills.

An account has been set up at Community Bank to help Crue Marlowe's family with funeral expenses.

Jacob would have turned 22 on Saturday.
