Jury Acquits Drake of Murdering Stepfather

A Hardin County jury has acquitted David Drake of murdering his stepfather, Willard French.

The jury returned with the verdict late Monday afternoon.

Drake was charged with stabbing and killing 53 year old Willard French last October in Kountze.

His brother, Brian, was also charged with murder.

The D.A.'s office has said Brian Drake's murder trial might take place in December.
