Several events have been organized for this holiday weekend. If you're looking for an Independence Day Celebration in Southeast Texas or beyond, read the list below.

Riverfront Park Fourth of July celebration, 5 p.m., July 4, 801 Main St. The downtown festivities feature live music and a variety of food vendors. At 8 p.m., the Symphony of Southeast Texas is set to perform at the Julie Rogers Theatre, 765 Pearl St. The fireworks start at 9 p.m. at Riverfront Park. (409)838-3435.

Fourth of July Harvest community event, 6 to 10 p.m. Harvest for Lost Souls Outreach Ministry, 515 Magnolia at Calder, Beaumont. The downtown event includes live music, free food, games and prizes. (409)212-1399.

Lamar State College-Port Arthur Fourth of July event, 7 p.m. entertainment kicks off inside the Carl Parker Center, 1800 Lakeshore Drive, Port Arthur, and a fireworks show starts at 9 p.m. over the Sabine-Neches Waterway at the same location. (409)984-6342.

Jasper Independence Day Celebration, 4 p.m. July 4 on Marvin Hancock Drive. Event includes food and entertainment. Fireworks start at 9:30 p.m. (409)384-2626.

Abundant Life Sanctuary Fourth of July Community Event, 8 a.m., July 4, Abundant Life Church, Hwy 73, at the 25th Street exit, Groves, The event kicks off with a flea market, offers a carnival, pony rides, pet show and food. Fireworks begin at 9 p.m. (409)962-1056.

Woodville Fourth of July Celebration, 4 p.m. July 4, Heritage Village Museum, 157 Private Road 600 on Hwy 90. Festivities include a pie baking contest, live music, food and a children's bicycle parade that commences at 5 p.m. Fireworks start at 9 p.m. (409)679-6805.

Wildwood Old Glory Celebration, July 3-4, the event kicks off with a fish fry from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. July 3. At 8 p.m., local church choirs will perform patriotic songs at the Wildwood Baptist Church, 98 Wildwood Drive, Village Mills. On July 4, the festivities start at 7:30 a.m. with a golf tournament at Wildwood Resort City, off Hwy 69 and FM 3063. A parade is set for 9 a.m. The event includes arts and crafts, children's games, bake sale and a boat parade on Lake Kimbie. The Wildwood Fire Department will sell food, including hot links and hamburgers. (409)834-2241.

Buna Fourth of July Celebration, 6 p.m., July 4, Buna High School activities center, FM 253. Activities include wheelbarrow, sack races and seed-spitting contest. Live music and food offered. Fireworks start at 9 p.m. (409)994-5586.

Lufkin July 4th Celebration, 1 p.m., July 4, at Ellen Trout Zoo, 402 Zoo Circle. Event includes food and entertainment. Fireworks begin at 9:15 p.m. (936)634-6644

Lake Charles Fourth of July Celebration, 6 p.m. July 4, Lake Charles Civic Center, 900 Lakeshore Drive. Starts with a parade at 6 p.m., and fireworks at 9:15 p.m. The event also includes food and entertainment. (337)491-1284.

July 5

Independence Day event, 4 p.m., July 5, Rogers Park, 1455 Dowlen Road. The event offers free food. Activities include Frisbee, horseshoes and washers. (409)898-2440.
