Fireworks blamed for grassfire

Fireworks are being blamed for a grassfire that burned close to two acres of land in Lumberton Sunday afteroon, that's according to the Lumberton Fire Department.
Firefighters responded to the fire off of Highway 69 near Wheeler road around 3:00p.m.
Firefighters tell KFDM they found a backpack full of fireworks close to where the fire started and found several that had already been set off. Fire investigators are working to find out who caused the fire.
