Deweyville ISD extends school closure/Update on Flooding
Comments 0 | Recommend 0Flooding has prompted the Deweyville School District to order the closure of school through Tuesday. The closure has been in effect since Thursday.
The flooding was caused when the Sabine River Authority released water from the Toledo Bend Reservoir. Areas impacted include Deweyville and Bon Weir.
Kerry Copper estimates the water should start to fall this evening, "water rose a few inches Sunday morning but is now leveling off. It should not rise anymore and should start to fall Sunday evening."
