SUV driver crashes into Houston ice cream shop
CONROE, Texas (AP) - An ice cream shop was closed for business after an SUV smashed into the building. No one was injured.
KTRK in Houston reports that the SUV, with several children inside, slammed into a Marble Slab Creamery early Sunday. Three customers and two workers were inside the shop at the time.
Investigators believe the driver accidentally hit the accelerator rather than the brakes.
Afterward, employee Mario Herra was able to joke about it: "I guess they really wanted some ice cream."
Conroe is just north of Houston.
