Beaumont Police have arrested Teddy Buchanan, 30, of Port Arthur, and charged him with Aggravated Robbery in connection with the homicide of Coty Day.

   Officer Crystal Holmes tells KFDM News officers arrested Buchanan Wednesday afternoon and brought him to the police station in downtown Beaumont.

  On Sunday Allen Fruge was charged with murder.

  Police say Buchanan and Fruge went to Day's home to rob her at gunpoint.  Fruge is accused of shooting Day once in the chest at her home on 4th Street in Beaumont's Oaks Historic District. 

Her two children at home asleep during shooting.

 They weren't hurt.  The children have been placed with relatives.
