A Saratoga woman was killed Fruday in an accident on Highway 69 two miles outside of Kountze.

It happened around 1:30 in the afternoon. Troopers say 23 year old Karen Seals died when the driver of the car she was riding in was going an unsafe speed on the wet highway lost control of the car and hydroplaned.

The car ended up in oncoming traffic, hitting another car.

Three other people were injured in the accident and the highway was shut down for several hours.
