KFDM News has learned 20 year old Christopher Chapa is charged with murder after shooting and killing 20 year old Derrick Munoz. The Chambers County Sheriff tells KFDM Chapa's bond has been set at $500,000.

Chambers County Sheriff's deputies are investigating a fatal shooting Saturday night.

Authorities tell KFDM it happened inside a house on Stutes Road in Winnie. Deputies have recovered the gun and have a suspect in custody.

Deputies say the victim was in his 20's and died from a gunshot wound to the head.

Calvin Hutchings lives next door to where the shooting took place.  He tells KFDM he heard two men arguing and went to see what was going on. When he made his way next door he realized the two men were fighting over money. One man pulled out a gun and shot the other.

Sheriff'''s deputies say the suspect is also in his 20's. He's been questioned and will be arraigned Monday morning.
