Fire at millwork business in Lumberton ruled arson
A millwork business burned off Highway 69 near Keith Road in Lumberton and the fire marshal says the fire was deliberately set.
Investigators say smoke poured out of a 30' by 50' metal building owned by Xtreme Door & Millwork, 4562 Highway 69 South Monday morning.
No injuries were reported.
The Lumberton Volunteer Fire Department responded with assistance from the Beaumont Fire Department. Beaumont Fire sent two engines and a chief's car.
Fire Marshal Jim Philp tells KFDM News no one was inside the building at the time of the fire and the contents were a total loss although the building remained standing.
As of Monday night there had not been an arrest.
