GALVESTON, Texas (AP) - A man who admitted his role in a 2008 torture slaying in which the victim was bound and dumped in Galveston Bay must serve 41 years in prison. A judge on Thursday sentenced 28-year-old Brian O'Neal Richardson, who had pleaded guilty to murder. A co-defendant, 50-year-old William Henry Perry, was sentenced in October to 40 years in prison for his conviction in the killing of 39-year-old Gary Wayne Bell of Santa Fe. Investigators say Bell was beaten, hogtied and asphyxiated in a hotel room and dumped into the bay in a dispute over treatment of a woman identified as Richardson's girlfriend. --- Information from: The Galveston County Daily News,
