Orange man jumps from moving truck, dies at local hospital

Orange police are trying to determine why a man jumped out of a moving truck, he died from his injuries a short time later.

It happened at 2:00a.m. Saturday morning in the 300 block of Border St. in Orange. Police say 25 year old Christopher Raymond Busby was the passenger in a 2001 white GMC truck being driven by 23 year old Carrie Laughlin.

Officers say Busby was sitting in the front passenger seat and jumped from the moving truck. He was transported to Baptist Hospital-Orange were he was pronounced dead.

The case is under investigation and Justice of the Peace Rodney Price has ordered an autopsy.
