Comments 0 | Recommend 0The revitalization of downtown Beaumont continues not only by city officials but also residents.
Sunday afternoon members of the Waldman Smallwood Law Firm dedicated a new park.
The Waldman park sits on the corner of College and Pearl. It use to be the lot for the law firm's office but after moving to the west end, owner Carl Waldman donated and paid for it to be turned into a park. It includes tables and benches, 3 gazebos, and solar power lighting.
Mr. Waldman says he wants this to be a place were Southeast Texas families can come out and enjoy a day at the park.
The law firm is also building a new playground for the students at Fletcher Elementary school in the avenues.
