Patriot Guard pays tribute to soldier
Comments 0 | Recommend 0The Patriot Guard escorted a soldier's body back home in a public show of support across Southeast Texas.
Pvt. Samuel Moody, 29, of Deweyville, died earlier this week while serving at Ft. Hood. The military hasn't released the cause of death.
Moody's body arrived at Bush Intercontinental Airport in Houston. The Patriot Guard Riders escorted Moody's body from Beaumont and the procession moved along College Street before entering I-10 for the trip to Claybar Funeral Home in Orange.
Pvt. Moody's funeral will be Sunday at 2 p.m. at Calvary Baptist Church on Western Avenue in Orange.
