Pink Fire Truck Turns Heads, Serves Important Cause

It was enough to turn heads in downtown Beaumont.

A pink fire truck is part of the Guardians of the Ribbon Tour across the United States.

A group of five firefighters, police officers and community leaders are traveling across the country in the pink fire truck, pulling a ten foot stainless steel ribbon.

They want to call attention to breast cancer and the Cares Enough to Wear Pink campaign.

The group will visit 33 cities across the U.S., including a trip to Lafayette, Louisiana on Thursday.
