Police say driver passes herself off as twin sister after husband dies in wreck
Orange fatal update - Orange police say the woman driving, when a man jumped out a moving truck and died from his injuries, lied to police about her identity.
The incident happened at 2:00a.m. Saturday morning in the 300 block of Border St. in Orange.
Police say 25 year old Christopher Raymond Busby was the passenger in a 2001 white GMC truck. Initial reports said the driver was 23 year old Carrie Laughlin.
Police say the driver was actually the man's wife, 23 year old Sherrie Busby. Busby passed herself off as her twin sister, Carrie Laughlin.
Officers say Busby provided the false identification so she wouldn't be arrested for outstanding traffic warrant. Police are considering filing criminal charges against Busby for providing false information.
They are also awaiting toxicology test in regards to her husband's death.
