Police arrest burglar, search for three robbers
Beaumont Police are searching for robbers who struck two businesses, including a Domino's Pizza and a convenience store, while officers have arrested a suspect accused of stealing a television from an apartment.
A man with a handgun robbed Domino's Pizza, 240 Dowlen Road, at about 9 p.m. Wednesday. He had a Glock type pistol with a silver slide. Witnesses say the man jumped over the counter, opened the register, then struck one of the employees with his gun. The man ran way.
Police are also searching for two men with handguns who robbed Stop-N-Go, 870 Major Drive, at about 8:40 p.m. Wednesday. They threatened the clerk, took money and left, walking west on Landis. Each man had a long barreled black revolver. The first robber was described as a 6' black man, dark complected, wearing a blue bandana with a flower or skull print on front. The second robber was described as a 5'6" black man, medium complected, wearing a black bandana with a flower or skull print on front. They might have left in a white Tahoe or Expedition.

Police arrested a man accused of stealing a television set from an apartment. Officers say Dexter Mosely, 19, of Beaumont, is accused of taking a television set from an apartment at 3255 Elmira. Witnesses reported that he was running down Fannett Road. Officers found him on Waverly with a shopping cart containing a stolen television. He Mosely was arrested and booked into the Jefferson County Jail for Burglary of a Habitation. Police say he recently moved from Houston to Beaumont.
