Former Saint living in Beaumont relishes Super Bowl victory
A former New Orleans Saint who lives in Beaumont is calling it a dream come true, one day after the Saints victory in the Super Bowl.
Bob Pollard, 61, was drafted to play for the Saints in 1971.
He was with the team until the late 1970's and played for the St. Louis Cardinals before retiring from football in 1981
His home is filled with trophies and remembrances of his playing days.
Pollard would have enjoyed watching the Super Bowl live but preferred watching at home.
He was inducted into the Saints hall of fame in 1995.
Pollard's son, Robert Pollard Junior, played for the Seattle Seahawks and was in the Super Bowl in 2006.
Pollard told us he enjoyed living in New Orleans as much as he did playing for the Saints.
