KFDM.com Tells You Where You Can Find Some of the Cheapest Gas Prices

Gasoline prices are reaching new record highs in all 11 regions surveyed in Texas. The average in Beaumont is $3.53, up 5.5 cents from last week. The state average is the same.

KFDM is trying to help by making available a list of some of the cheapest gas prices reported in the area. On our website is a list created by Southeast Texas drivers who log on and submit the gas stations with the lowest gas prices in the area. The submissions are then confirmed by gasbuddy.com. The web page includes the top ten cheapest stations and a map of where they're located.

Michael Doss says before he fills up again he's planning to use the website. But he says he won't be doing any extra driving until prices drop under $3.00 a gallon. Doss said, "that is to much they need to go ahead and bring prices back down to $1.50 a gallon."

Thursday night Murphy USA on Twin City Highway and Monroe had some of the cheapest gas prices in Southeast Texas at $3.42 a gallon. But by Friday afternoon prices had gone up two cents to $3.44.
