This week's restaurant inspection scores come to us from the Port Arthur Health Department.
CHURCH'S CHICKEN 2200 GULFWAY DRIVE/GRADE=78
We begin with Church's Chicken on Gulfway Drive. Inspector Freeman found food not kept cold enough, he also discovered German roaches, house flies and gnats. The inspector also said the floors needed work. Church's Chicken on Gulfway Drive gets a 78.
DAIRY QUEEN 3010 39TH ST. GRADE=89
now to Dairy Queen on 39th Street. Inspector Freeman found slime in the ice machine, food items stored on the floor. Dairy Queen on 39th Street gets an 89.
SONIC 6767 WEST PORT ARTHUR ROAD/GRADE=89
Now to Sonic on West Port Arthur Road. Inspector Freeman found no hair restraints, the inspector told workers to clean up dead german roaches in the drive in and to repair a leak in the sink. Sonic on West Port Arthur Road gets an 89.
TRACY'S SEAFOOD DElI 1201 GULFWAY DRIVE/GRADE=89
Next is Tracy's Seafood Deli on Gulfway. Inspector Freeman found a rusted wok.. And said it either needed to be replaced or cleaned, toxic items were stored on top of onions, damaged ceiling tiles needed to be replaced, and he found improper thawing of foods that could cause it to spoil. Tracy's Seafood Deli on Gulfway gets an 89.
TUSCANY ITALIAN RESTAURANT 3600 HWY 365 GRADE=89
Finally we check out Tuscany Italian Restaurant on Highway 365. Inspector Freeman found food items uncovered that should have been covered containers, there was improper sanitizing to kill germs, the hand sink ws broken and items were stored on top of the ice machine. Tuscany Italian Restaurant gets an 89.
