Four found dead in mobile home near Lake Charles

LAKE CHARLES, La. (AP) - Calcasieu Parish Sheriff Tony Mancuso says police investigating a quadruple killing in southwest Louisiana are looking for an SUV registered in east Mississippi.

He says the dark blue 2000 Ford Explorer XLT with Lauderdale County license LCE 755 was often parked near the mobile home where deputies found the bodies of two men and two women Monday morning.

They were found after a woman who hadn't been able to get in touch with her daughter went to check on her. Mancuso says the woman opened the door, saw a body just inside, closed the door again and called 911.

He says detectives want to question anyone in the car.

He says all four victims probably were in their early 20s. Two are tentatively identified, but police won't release names until families are notified.
