Beaumont police were on the scene Friday night at shooting in front of the Family Dollar Store.

It happened just before 9 p.m. Friday in the 4000 block of Concord.

One man was hit under the arm pit.

He was able to walk to the ambulance rushed to the hospital.

It's not known at this time what prompted the shooting.
