Man Dies When Vehicle Strikes Tree
Comments 0 | Recommend 0Law enforcement officers are investigating a fatal accident in which a man's car struck a tree in Port Neches.
Port Neches Police say they received a call about the accident shortly before 2 a.m. Friday.
A 22 year old man from Channelview was killed when his vehicle left the roadway in the 1900 block of Nall Street and struck a tree.
Justice of the Peace Brad Burnett says he pronounced Michael Vincent Rodriguez dead at the scene.
He says there were no skid marks and the man wasn't wearing a seat belt.
The judge has ordered a toxicology test.
