Police say teens are bikini bandit suspects

 Police in Lafayette, Louisiana say two 16 year old girls are the bikini bandit suspects caught on surveillance video breaking into cars at an apartment complex.

Police arrested one 16 year old suspect from Lafayette.  She's in juvenile detention, charged with three counts of burglary of a vehicle.

The second 16 year old surrendered at the Lafayette Police Department.  She was taken into custody and released to her parents.  The girl is charged with three counts of burglary of a vehicle. 

Officers say they've recovered some of the stolen items.  They include GPS devices, wallets and sunglasses.

Surveillance video from the Lafayette Gardens apartment complex showed two women wearing only bikinis trying to open car doors in a parking lot.  They got inside vehicles that were left unlocked.
