Southeast Texas soldier laid to rest
Friends, family and loved ones gathered Sunday afternoon to say their final goodbyes to a Southeast Texas soldier found dead in his barracks at Fort Hood, a week ago.
Moody died in a non-combat related incident.
Army officials have not released the circumstances surrounding his death stating it's under investigation.
The body of 29 year old Army Private First Class Samuel Lee Moody, of Deweyville, returned to Southeast Texas Friday Afternoon. The Patriot Guard escorted his body to the Claybar Funeral Home in Orange.
During the services Moody was remembered as a true friend, with a bright smile, who was always willing to help others.
